Engineering and development of custom robotic applications

 

At Dronemaster & Robotics, our focus is not the simple delivery of a service, but the development of fully customised robotic applications and architectures built around the customer’s specific operational challenges. We operate as an advanced system integrator: we start from the analysis of the industrial problem to design the solution architecture, ensuring seamless integration of new autonomous systems with the technologies, software and sensors already owned by the organisation.

As a result, we do not supply standard machines. We build the tool by engineering external payloads, Artificial Intelligence algorithms (edge computing) and control interfaces for each operational domain, supporting the customer from design through field validation.

Aerial robotics (drones / UAV)

When the goal is to automate large-scale data collection, we develop enterprise-grade aerial configurations tailored to the customer’s processes.

Custom applications: design of dedicated UAV ecosystems for automated creation of company digital twins, thermographic inspection routines for energy assets, and BVLOS missions integrated into existing workflows.

Integration: development of AI software for automatic anomaly detection and calibration of radiometric and multispectral sensors on request.

Dynamic ground robotics (robot dogs / quadrupeds)

In scenarios where mobility on complex terrain is a requirement, we engineer purpose-built applications on high-mobility ground platforms, suitable for articulated industrial environments and rough terrain.

Custom applications: autonomous inspection routines for construction sites, petrochemical plants, mines and confined spaces, enabling companies to automate monitoring.

Integration: custom outfitting with 3D LiDAR, acoustic cameras and gas detectors, creating predictive maintenance systems that interface directly with the customer’s management software and control rooms.

Humanoid robotics

When the operating environment is designed for humans, we develop advanced use cases to deploy bipedal platforms in real contexts, without disrupting existing infrastructure.

Custom applications: advanced logistics automation, complex tool manipulation, and operations in high chemical or radiological risk environments where human access is restricted.

Integration: training of dedicated neural networks and actuator customisation to enable safe interaction with existing infrastructure, operating valves, opening doors and handling loads.

Ground rovers

For long-duration missions requiring stability and payload capacity, we design robust UGV setups with configurations optimised for payload and operational autonomy.

Custom applications: fleet development for automated perimeter patrol, on-site internal logistics and mapping of tunnels or underground networks.

Integration: configuration of custom robotic arms, long-range PTZ cameras and satellite communication networks to ensure uninterrupted control in any conditions.

Underwater robotics

In offshore contexts, where maintenance requires continuity and precision, we create underwater exploration solutions engineered around the client’s specific requirements.

Custom applications: automation and digitisation of inspections for dams, subsea pipelines, cable routes, offshore platforms and port pylons.

Integration: ROV customisation with imaging sonar, purpose-designed manipulator arms and ultra-high-sensitivity optical sensors to maximise operational results.

Payload engineering and PoC

Across all domains, the real value of a robotic platform lies in its expandability. Our engineers start from platforms by global leading brands and extend their operational capabilities by developing and integrating dedicated hardware and software modules, fully respecting native architectures.

For this reason, we deliver proof of concept (PoC) projects to validate technology in the field, implement autonomous charging stations (docking stations) for 24/7 operations, and configure data transmission systems with proprietary encryption.
