Robotics
Engineering and development of custom robotic applications
At Dronemaster & Robotics, the focus is not simply delivering a service. Rather, our core mission is developing fully customised robotic applications and architectures built around each client’s specific operational challenges. To achieve this, we operate as an advanced system integrator: we start by analysing the industrial problem to design the solution architecture, thereby ensuring full integration of new autonomous systems with the technologies, software, and sensors the company already owns.
As a result, we do not supply off-the-shelf machines. Instead, we engineer the right tool by developing external payloads, Artificial Intelligence algorithms (edge computing), and control interfaces for each operational domain. Throughout the entire process, we support the client from design through to field validation.
Aerial robotics (drones / UAV)
When the objective is to automate large-scale data collection, we develop enterprise-grade aerial configurations tailored to the client’s processes.
Custom applications: design of UAV ecosystems dedicated to the automated creation of corporate digital twins, thermographic inspection routines for energy plants, and BVLOS missions integrated into existing workflows.
Integration: development of AI software for automatic recognition of structural anomalies, and calibration of radiometric and multispectral sensors on request.
Dynamic ground robotics (robot dogs / quadrupeds)
In contexts where mobility across complex terrain is a core requirement, we engineer purpose-specific applications on ultra-high-mobility ground platforms, suited to articulated industrial environments and rough-terrain scenarios.
Custom applications: development of autonomous inspection routines for construction sites, petrochemical plants, mines, and confined spaces, enabling companies to automate their monitoring operations.
Integration: bespoke configuration with 3D LIDAR sensors, acoustic cameras, and gas detectors — creating predictive maintenance systems that communicate directly with the client’s management software and control rooms.
Humanoid robotics
Where the operational environment has been designed around the human form, we develop advanced use cases for deploying biped platforms in real-world contexts — without overhauling existing infrastructure.
Custom applications: automation of advanced logistics, complex tool manipulation, and operations in high-risk chemical or radiological environments where human access is prohibited.
Integration: training of application-specific neural networks and customisation of actuators, enabling the robot to interact with the company’s existing infrastructure — operating valves, opening doors, managing loads — with complete safety.
Rovers
For extended missions requiring stability and payload capacity, we design high-robustness UGV configurations, optimised for payload flexibility and operational autonomy.
Custom applications: development of fleets for automated perimeter patrolling, internal site logistics, and the mapping of tunnels or underground networks.
Integration: configuration of custom robotic arms, long-range PTZ cameras, and satellite communication networks — ensuring the company maintains uninterrupted control of the machine under any operating condition.
Underwater robotics
In offshore environments where maintenance demands continuity and precision, we create subsea exploration solutions engineered around the client’s specific requirements.
Custom applications: automation and digitalisation of inspections for dams, subsea pipelines, cable conduits, offshore platforms, and harbour pylons.
Integration: customisation of ROVs with imaging sonar, purpose-built manipulator arms, and ultra-high-sensitivity optical sensors to ensure the highest operational output.
Payload engineering and PoC
Across all domains, the true value of a robotic platform lies in its expandability. Our engineers start from world-leading brand platforms and extend their operational capabilities by developing and integrating dedicated hardware and software modules — in full compliance with native architectures.
For this reason, we develop proof of concept (PoC) projects to validate technology in the field, implement autonomous charging stations (docking stations) for 24/7 operations, and configure data transmission systems with proprietary encryption.
